History of Don Robinson Mitsubishi

Our dealership, known originally as Don Robinson Motors, began in December of 1996. We have been serving our local community for almost 20 years and we are proud to call St. Cloud, Minnesota our home. Our journey as a dealership began with used cars, and when we opened our doors, we had only 12 vehicles for sale. By August of 2013, after we had substantially increased our inventory, we ventured out to become a new Mitsubishi dealership. With the help of our community and the hard-working employees here at Don Robinson Mitsubishi, we have grown our business from those first 12 vehicles to over 200 cars.

Our history begins with our owner, Don Robinson. Don is an integral part of our team here at Don Robinson Mitsubishi, and you can find him in the store working along-side our other employees. Before opening Don Robinson Motors, Don worked in the automotive industry, where he would discover what he wanted to do with his life. After gaining the experience he would need, he set out on his own to establish a used car dealership on a small dirt lot in North St. Cloud. After nearly 20 years, Don Robinson Mitsubishi has grown into what you know it as today, a home-grown dealership that puts its customer’s interest first.

Our local community means a lot to us here at Don Robinson Mitsubishi; it is because of our community that our hard work has paid off and helped us grow as a business. St. Cloud is our home and we give back to our community, not out of duty, but because we want to give to a place that has given so much to us.
